Aoyama-itchome/Gaien-mae

Aoyama-itchome and Gaien-mae are among Tokyo's most upscale residential and office districts. Close to Omotesando and Shibuya, the area is calm and refined, with stylish cafes and select shops lining the streets. At night, foot traffic thins out, revealing a quiet office neighborhood.

Geographically, the area centers around the intersection of Aoyama-dori (Route 246) and Gaien-nishi-dori, bordered by Meiji Jingu Gaien to the north and Aoyama Cemetery to the south. Aoyama-itchome and Gaien-mae subway stations are within walking distance, served by the Ginza, Hanzomon, and Oedo lines.

The adult entertainment scene here is virtually nonexistent. Unlike entertainment districts like Omotesando or Roppongi, this is a high-end residential area unsuitable for adult venues. Only a handful of delivery health (deliheru) and erotic massage (eroeste) shops operate discreetly in apartment rooms or small office floors.

Venue count is in the single digits, with prices on the higher side (delivery health: 15,000–25,000 yen for 60 minutes). The clientele is mostly local wealthy residents and businesspeople; there are almost no tourist-oriented shops.

For foreign visitors, finding adult services here is impractical. If you must, you could pre-book a delivery health service online and have them come to your hotel, but English support is unlikely.

Access is good, but if your goal is adult entertainment, head straight to Shinjuku, Shibuya, or Roppongi. Treat this area as a place for daytime strolling and shopping.
