Yokkaichi/Kuwana/Suzuka/Tsu

Yokkaichi, Kuwana, Suzuka, and Tsu — these cities in Mie Prefecture are 30 minutes to an hour by train from Nagoya, forming practical adult entertainment districts where local office workers and tourists drop by casually. Rather than large-scale pleasure quarters, shops are scattered around stations and along main roads.

Yokkaichi is known as an industrial city, with soaplands and delivery health concentrated near the station. Kuwana is a commuter town for Nagoya, centered on fashion health and pink salons. Suzuka is close to the Suzuka Circuit and gets busy during events. Tsu is the prefectural capital but has a limited number of adult venues.

The main adult venue types are soaplands (a few in Yokkaichi), delivery health (many in all cities), fashion health (common in Kuwana and Suzuka), and pink salons (a few in Yokkaichi and Tsu). Price ranges: soaplands around ¥20,000 per hour, delivery health and fashion health ¥10,000–15,000 per hour, pink salons around ¥5,000 for 30 minutes — slightly cheaper than Nagoya.

For foreign tourists, delivery health and fashion health are easier to use. However, Japanese language support is standard, and English-friendly shops are rare. Soaplands may refuse entry, so check in advance.

Access: from Nagoya, take the Kintetsu or JR line to each city. Yokkaichi: Kintetsu Yokkaichi Station; Kuwana: Kintetsu Kuwana Station; Suzuka: Kintetsu Suzuka-shi Station; Tsu: JR Tsu Station. Business hours are generally from noon to around midnight.

Note: these areas are locally oriented, so flashy signs and touts are rare. Online reservations are mainstream; check shop websites in advance. Many shops don't accept credit cards, so bring cash.
