Yokkaichi/Kuwana

Yokkaichi and Kuwana are industrial cities about 30 minutes by train from Nagoya. The station fronts are lined with business hotels and izakayas, and during the day you'll see many workers in factory uniforms. At night, neon lights flicker in alleys a short walk from the stations, revealing the red-light districts.

Yokkaichi's adult entertainment area spreads within walking distance of Kintetsu Yokkaichi Station. Kuwana's is centered around Shichiwacho, north of Kintetsu Kuwana Station. Both are compact and walkable.

The main adult venue type here is soapland. Yokkaichi has about 20 soaplands, Kuwana about 10. Prices range from ¥15,000 to ¥25,000 for 60 minutes, slightly cheaper than in big cities. Delivery health is also common, with over 30 shops in Yokkaichi and about 20 in Kuwana. Hotel health and fashion health are less common; pink salons and SM clubs are almost nonexistent.

Soaplands are clustered in alleys 5–10 minutes from the stations, with discreet touts. Delivery health typically sends girls to hotels, and many customers use business hotels near the stations. Foreign tourists are still rare, and you may be refused entry if you don't speak Japanese.

Access: from Nagoya, take the Kintetsu Nagoya Line to Yokkaichi (about 30 min) or Kuwana (about 20 min). Soaplands generally operate from noon to midnight, delivery health from evening until around 2 AM. Friday and Saturday nights are busiest.

English-friendly shops are very limited. It's best to call or email ahead. Soaplands may require ID at entry; bring your passport.
