Takatsuki

Exit the north gate of Takatsuki Station, and the square is busy with buses and taxis, commuters and students. Station buildings and shopping streets spread out, crowded with shoppers during the day — a typical Osaka satellite city.

Takatsuki is a transport hub served by the JR Kyoto Line and Hankyu Kyoto Line, with good access: about 15 minutes by express to Osaka Station, about 20 minutes to Kyoto Station. Business hotels and love hotels dot the area around the station, and at night neon signs become noticeable in some spots.

The adult entertainment scene in Takatsuki centers on delivery health and hotel health, operating out of hotels within walking distance of the station. Storefront-type shops are few; delivery-type services dominate. Prices range from about 12,000 to 20,000 yen for 60 minutes, slightly cheaper than in Osaka city. A few delivery health reception shops exist in the love hotel district near the station, but most are fully delivery-based, dispatching girls directly to hotels.

At night, there are many restaurants near the station, so you can enjoy a meal while waiting. However, street touts are rare around the station; it's best to research shops online beforehand and go prepared.
