Itabashi / Tobu Line Area

Stepping off at Itabashi Station, you see a typical Tokyo shitamachi scene: chain izakayas and supermarkets line the streets. The Tobu Tojo Line area is similar—a quiet residential stretch that feels far from just one stop away from Ikebukuro.

Adult venues here are scattered in multi-tenant buildings near stations or in apartment rooms on backstreets. Delivery health and hotel health dominate; soaplands and pink salons are virtually nonexistent. The storefront style is rare—most services dispatch to hotels.

Dozens of delivery health shops cluster around Itabashi and along the Tobu Line stations. Prices run around ¥10,000 for 60 minutes, slightly cheaper than central Tokyo. Hotel health options are limited by partner hotels, so you'll need to book a room in advance. A few SM clubs and erotic massage shops exist, but choices are slim.

For foreign visitors, this area has a higher barrier. Most shops are Japanese-only, and many refuse foreigners. Delivery health requires phone reservations, and arranging dispatch to a hotel demands Japanese language skills.

Access: Ikebukuro to Itabashi on the Tobu Tojo Line takes about 3 minutes; to Shimo-Itabashi about 5 minutes. JR Saikyo Line also serves Itabashi. Typical hours are from early afternoon to late night, with weekends busier.
