North Ikebukuro / Itabashi Station Area

North Ikebukuro and the Itabashi Station area are a mix of quiet residential streets and local shopping arcades, a short distance from the city center. At night, modest neon signs begin to glow along the station rotary and the railway tracks. This is a red-light district known to those who prioritize practicality over flashiness.

Geographically, JR Saikyo Line's Kita-Ikebukuro Station and Tobu Tojo Line's Itabashi Station are within walking distance, just one stop from Ikebukuro. The core of the area is the shopping street extending from the east exit of Itabashi Station and the love hotel cluster around it. On the Kita-Ikebukuro side, small shops are scattered along the railway.

The adult scene here is dominated by delivery health (deliheru) and hotel health (hoteheru). The number of shops is not huge, but about 20-30 are concentrated, especially around Itabashi Station's east exit. Prices are relatively low, with many shops starting around ¥10,000 for 60 minutes, popular among budget-conscious customers.

For deliheru, you call the shop and have a woman dispatched to a love hotel. Hoteheru provides service in partner hotels. In either case, you need to secure a hotel beforehand, or the shop may arrange it. Some shops also offer services incorporating elements of fashion health (fashion health).

Access: from Ikebukuro, take the Tobu Tojo Line to Itabashi Station (about 3 minutes) or the JR Saikyo Line to Kita-Ikebukuro Station (about 2 minutes). Walking between the two stations takes about 15 minutes. Most shops operate from early afternoon until late night, with weekends being particularly busy.

For foreign visitors, many shops require Japanese language ability, so it's advisable to bring a Japanese-speaking friend or prepare a translation app. Also, familiarize yourself with how to use a love hotel and the process of calling a deliheru shop in advance.
