Kasai/Koto Ward Area

When you step off at Kasai Station, you feel the working-class air of Tokyo's eastern edge. Buses circulate in the rotary, and the shopping street is filled with local housewives and families. At night, neon lights begin to glow in alleys a short walk from the station.

This area spans Koto Ward and Edogawa Ward, with Kasai Station and Nishi-Kasai Station as main hubs. Access is good via the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line, about 15 minutes from Otemachi. The surroundings are mostly residential, quiet during the day, but adult businesses come alive at night.

The adult entertainment scene here is medium-sized, dominated by delivery health (deliheru) and hotel health (hoteheru). Delivery health sends girls to your home or hotel, with rates starting around ¥10,000 for 60 minutes. Hotel health operates in partner hotels at similar prices. There are also a few pink salons (pinsaro), but no soaplands or SM clubs.

For foreign visitors, many delivery health and hotel health shops require Japanese language skills, but some now accept foreigners. Prices are lower than central Tokyo, making it beginner-friendly.

Access is easiest via the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line. Shops are scattered around both Kasai and Nishi-Kasai stations. Business hours are generally from afternoon until late night. Weekends, especially Friday and Saturday nights, are busy, so reservations are recommended.

Note that delivery health may require separate hotel costs if you don't have a room. Hotel health usually designates a partner hotel. Some shops ask for ID, so bring your passport.
