Tsukishima/Kachidoki

Tsukishima and Kachidoki sit on Tokyo's east side, sandwiched between the Sumida River and Tokyo Bay. The Yurakucho and Oedo subway lines serve the area, so access is decent. By day, tourists flock here for monjayaki; by night, the office crowd takes over.

The adult scene here is small, centered on delivery health (deliheru) and hotel health (hoteheru). Maybe a dozen shops total. Deliheru sends girls to your place or hotel; hoteheru uses partner hotels. Prices run 15,000–25,000 yen for 60 minutes—a bit cheaper than central Tokyo.

Shops are tucked away in mixed-use buildings or apartments a short walk from the station. Signs are discreet; you might walk right past one. Foreigner-friendly shops are rare. If you don't speak Japanese, expect to be turned away.

Best to visit on a weekday evening. Weekends are packed with monjayaki diners, and hotels book up fast. Reservations are usually by phone; some shops accept online bookings. Cancellation policies are strict, so show up on time.

This isn't a red-light district. It's a small, local cluster. Don't expect the variety of Shinbashi or Shibuya. But if you prefer a quiet, low-key setting, it's worth a look.
