Asakusa, in Tokyo's Taito Ward, is the district around Senso-ji, with Kaminarimon and Nakamise spreading out from the temple. Asakusa Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line, Toei Asakusa Line and Tobu Skytree Line is the way in.
GO TOKYO notes that Asakusa Station is on three lines: Tokyo Metro's Ginza Line, the Toei Asakusa Line and the Tobu Skytree Line. Two subway lines and a Tobu line thus share one station name.
GO TOKYO presents Asakusa as an area centred on Senso-ji, with Kaminarimon, Nakamise and other streets around it. On this page, Asakusa means that area around the temple.

In Taito Ward, the block on the police list that carries the Asakusa name is Nishi-Asakusa 3-chome; Asakusa alone is not a listed town name (update date 31 March 2016). For night hours, Article 11 of Tokyo's entertainment business ordinance means store-type telephone dating businesses, store-type sex businesses and reception-office businesses cannot run between 0:00 and 6:00 anywhere in the metropolis. The police-posted text was last amended in Heisei 28.
