Kofu City

Step out of the north exit of Kofu Station, and you're greeted by a quiet cityscape typical of a regional city. At night, neon signs light up in the multi-tenant buildings and back alleys near the station, with adult shop signs becoming noticeable.

Geographically, the center is within a 5-minute walk from the north exit of Kofu Station. Shops are scattered along Heiwa-dori and Sakura-cho-dori, forming a compact area you can cover on foot. There are almost no adult shops at the south exit; the north exit is the de facto entertainment district.

Kofu's adult scene is dominated by delivery health and pink salons. Delivery health operates out of love hotels around the station, with rates ranging from 12,000 to 20,000 yen for 60 minutes. Pink salons are located in buildings near the station, offering quick and easy fun. Soaplands are banned by prefectural ordinance and do not exist.

The number of shops is not large, and most are locally oriented, with few flashy shops targeting tourists. Delivery health has a limited number of girls, so reservations are essential. Pink salons are easy to drop into near the station, but foreigner friendliness varies by shop.

Access: about 1.5 hours from Shinjuku on the JR Chuo Line limited express. By car, 15 minutes from Kofu Minami IC on the Chuo Expressway. Weekday nights are the best time to visit; weekends get crowded with locals.

For foreign visitors, be aware that some shops may refuse service if you don't speak Japanese. Check in advance by phone or email. Delivery health typically dispatches to hotels; you can also call to your home or accommodation, but hotel permission may be required.
