Chikusa / Imaike / Ikeshita

When you exit Imaike Station, you're greeted by a messy streetscape lined with bars and izakayas. At night, neon lights flicker, and the area buzzes with office workers and students.

The area stretches east-west along the Higashiyama subway line, centered around Imaike and Ikeshita stations. Chikusa Station is also within walking distance, making transportation convenient.

For adult entertainment, there are over a dozen soaplands around Imaike Station, along with delivery health and pink salons scattered about. Soaplands typically cost from the upper 20,000 yen range, while delivery health starts from the upper 10,000 yen range.

Toward Ikeshita Station, there are many hotel health and erotic massage shops, often at more affordable prices. Overall, this is a medium-sized concentration within Nagoya.

Foreign tourists may be refused entry at soaplands. Delivery health and pink salons are generally more accepting. If you don't speak Japanese, check with the shop in advance.

Operating hours vary, but peak time is from 8 PM to around midnight. Weekends are crowded, so reservations are recommended.
