Nishiki is the entertainment district of Naka Ward, Nagoya, between Sakae and Fushimi subway stations. It is two stops from Nagoya Station on the Higashiyama Line and the night-time core of the Sakae area.
The nearest stations are Sakae (Higashiyama and Meijo lines) and Fushimi (Higashiyama and Tsurumai lines). From Nagoya Station the Higashiyama Line stops at Fushimi and then Sakae, a ride of about five minutes. If you arrive by Shinkansen, you can drop your bags and be here the same evening.
Sakae is also a Meijo Line interchange, so Kanayama and Ozone are easy to reach. Check the last train time at the station before you go out. Sakae and Fushimi are neighbouring stops on the Higashiyama Line, so you can walk into Nishiki from either.
Nagoya's nightlife splits between the area around Nagoya Station and Sakae. Nishiki is the heart of the Sakae side. The Fushimi end is quieter, and bars and night venues get denser as you walk toward Sakae. The Chubu Electric Power MIRAI TOWER and Oasis 21 next to Sakae Station are useful landmarks.

Under a Nagoya city ordinance, the Sakae zone (Sakae 3- to 5-chome, Shin-Sakae 1-chome and Nishiki 3-chome) has been a no-touting zone since 1 October 2018.
