Kashiwa/Matsudo

Kashiwa and Matsudo are bedroom communities in northwestern Chiba Prefecture. By day they are quiet residential areas, but at night the entertainment districts around the stations come alive. The area around Kashiwa Station, in particular, is known for its dense concentration of bars and adult venues.

Kashiwa Station is served by the JR Joban Line and the Tobu Noda Line, while Matsudo Station is on the JR Joban Line and the Shin-Keisei Line. Both stations are about 30 minutes from Tokyo by train, making them accessible not only for locals but also for visitors from the city center.

The adult entertainment scene here is dominated by delivery health (deliheru) and hotel health (hoteheru). Around Kashiwa Station, dozens of delivery health shops line the streets, and Matsudo Station has a similar concentration. Prices range from about 12,000 to 18,000 yen for 60 minutes, slightly cheaper than in central Tokyo.

A few fashion health (fashion health) shops can also be found in some areas, but they are limited. Soaplands and pink salons are almost nonexistent; delivery health and hotel health are the main offerings.

For foreign visitors, many shops require Japanese language ability, so it's advisable to check in advance for shops that accommodate foreign languages. If using hotel health, securing a hotel room beforehand will make the process smoother.

Typical business hours are from noon to around midnight, and weekends tend to be crowded. First-timers should check shop information at station information centers or websites before visiting.
