Maebashi / Takasaki / Surrounding Area

Maebashi and Takasaki are the two major cities in Gunma Prefecture, about an hour from Tokyo by Shinkansen. The station areas are lined with business hotels and restaurants, giving a calm, regional city vibe. At night, the neon is subdued, and local office workers and tourists move about.

Geographically, the main entertainment districts are around Maebashi Station's north exit and Takasaki Station's east exit. The two stations are about 10 minutes apart by local train or 20 minutes by taxi. Adult venues are scattered in alleys and mixed-use buildings within walking distance from the stations, blending into the ordinary office landscape.

The adult scene centers on soaplands, delivery health, fashion health, and pink salons. A few soaplands are located in the back streets of Takasaki Station's east exit and near Maebashi Station's north exit. Prices are cheaper than in central Tokyo: soaplands run ¥15,000–20,000 for 60 minutes, pink salons ¥3,000–5,000 for 30 minutes. Delivery health services operate widely around both stations, typically calling you to a hotel.

For foreign visitors, many shops do not speak English or accept non-Japanese customers. It's essential to check by phone or email beforehand. Soaplands are particularly strict about refusing entry. Delivery health and fashion health are more accommodating, but English support is rare.

Access: from Tokyo Station, take the Joetsu Shinkansen to Takasaki (about 50 minutes) or Maebashi (about 60 minutes). By car, use the Kan-etsu Expressway's Maebashi IC or Takasaki IC. Business hours vary: soaplands typically noon–midnight, delivery health from evening to 2 AM.
