Maebashi

Maebashi's nightlife isn't flashy like Tokyo's. Leave the station rotary and head into the back streets, where quiet lanes are lit by sparse neon. This is a practical red-light district used by local men on a regular basis.

Shops are scattered around Maebashi Station, on both the north and south sides. The north exit, especially around Yanagi-dori, has an older soapland district. The area is walkable, but shops are somewhat spread out.

The core of the adult scene is soaplands, with prices around ¥15,000–20,000 for 60 minutes—cheaper than the Tokyo metro area. Delivery health is also common, popular for its convenience of calling to a hotel. There are a few pink salons for quick, cheap fun. SM clubs and erotic massage are almost nonexistent.

Overall, the number of shops isn't large, but they are locally focused with high turnover. Many shops prioritize regulars over new customers, so calling ahead for a reservation is recommended for first-timers.

Access is via JR Ryomo Line or Jōmō Electric Railway. From Tokyo, take the Shinkansen to Takasaki, then transfer to a local train. Driving is also possible, with many coin parking lots near the station.

Weekday nights are the best time to visit. Weekends get crowded with locals. English support is unlikely, so if you don't speak Japanese, check the shop's website in advance or call to confirm.
