Tsukuba

Tsukuba is a planned city centered around the University of Tsukuba and numerous research institutes. The station area is orderly, but at night foot traffic decreases and the atmosphere becomes quiet. Adult venues are scattered in residential areas and along roadside strips a short distance from the station, with few flashy signs.

Geographically, shops extend from Tsukuba Station toward Kenkyūgakuen Station and Bampaku-kinen-kōen Station. Car travel is the norm, and many shops have parking lots.
