Tama Ward (around Inadazutsumi)

When you step off at Inadazutsumi Station, a quiet residential area spreads out. Supermarkets and restaurants line the station front, bustling with families and students during the day. At night, foot traffic decreases, and the presence of adult shops is not overtly felt.

The area is in the northern part of Tama Ward, bordering Tokyo. Several business hotels are within walking distance of the station, and adult shops operate out of them. There are almost no storefront shops; the mainstream is appointment-only delivery health and hotel health.

The adult scene here is small-scale and locally oriented. A few delivery health and hotel health shops exist, with rates around 12,000–18,000 yen for 60 minutes, a reasonable price range within Kawasaki. Shops use rooms in apartments a bit away from the station or hotel rooms.

Services for foreign tourists are limited, with Japanese language support being standard. Few shops have English or Chinese-speaking staff. It's advisable to check photos and website info in advance and learn a few simple Japanese phrases.

Access is within a 5-minute walk from JR Nambu Line Inadazutsumi Station. With your back to the station rotary, proceed along the shopping street to find hotels scattered about. Business hours are often from noon to midnight, and reservations are typically made by phone or LINE. Same-day reservations are possible, but early contact is safer for popular shops.

Note that this is a residential area, so late-night noise and street solicitation are strictly prohibited. Shops also operate discreetly. If visiting for the first time, it's safest to meet at a convenience store near the station and follow the shop's instructions.
