Nagano City is the prefectural seat in the north of Nagano Prefecture. On a map published by the Nagano Prefectural Police, the area centred on Gondo-machi in Nagano City is the zone where licensed entertainment businesses may extend their hours, the same zone in which late-night entertainment restaurants may open. The whole area is a commercial zone.
Matsumoto has Shinshu-Matsumoto Airport, whose timetable lists flights from Sapporo (New Chitose and Okadama), Fukuoka and Kobe, plus a summer service from Osaka (Itami). A shuttle bus timed to each arrival runs to Matsumoto Bus Terminal in 30 minutes.
Article 28 of the Act on Control and Improvement of Amusement Businesses bans store-based adult businesses within 200 metres of schools, libraries, child welfare facilities and similar sites, and lets each prefecture designate further prohibited areas by ordinance. The Nagano Prefectural Police notification guide explains that the prefectural ordinance bans store-based formats, soaplands included, except in parts of Nagano City and Matsumoto City with no community hall, hospital, school or similar facility within 200 metres.
Under Article 28(3), the ban does not reach a venue that was already operating under a filed notification when it took effect. Walk-in formats such as soaplands can operate only within those limits; delivery health is an outcall format used at a hotel or another place you choose. For outcall venues the area usually marks the reception or base.
According to Nagano City, the Hokuriku Shinkansen reaches Nagano Station from Tokyo in about 1 hour 40 minutes (1 hour 20 at the fastest) and from Kanazawa in 1 hour 5 minutes at the fastest; the Nagano–Kanazawa section opened in March 2015. From Niigata, the Joetsu Shinkansen takes about 1 hour 10 minutes to Takasaki, then about an hour on the Hokuriku Shinkansen.
From Nagoya Station the limited express Shinano takes about 3 hours to Nagano; from Shin-Osaka it is about an hour on the Tokaido Shinkansen to Nagoya. Yamanashi's tourism site gives 113 minutes from Nagoya to Shiojiri on the Shinano, and Kofu City gives about 1 hour 15 minutes from Matsumoto to Kofu by limited express.
This site splits Nagano into four major areas, Gondo, Nagano Station Front, Matsumoto and Shiojiri, Ina and Suwa and Ueda · Saku, each holding one area of the same name. The venue list for each is on its area page.
It depends on the venue. Each venue page lists the languages it handles, and the “English OK” filter in search narrows results to venues with English support.
Payment methods vary by venue. Check the listing and confirm with the venue before booking.
