Chatan Town

At night in Chatan Town, the neon of American Village stretches along the coast. It's a tourist-heavy area, but adult shops are scattered in alleys and mixed-use buildings a bit away from the bustle.

Geographically, it's on the west coast of central Okinawa, about 40 minutes by car from Naha. Around American Village, delivery health and hotel health shops are concentrated. Hotel health operates near love hotel districts and business hotels.

The adult scene is dominated by delivery health and hotel health; pink salons and soaplands are almost nonexistent. Delivery health dispatches girls to your hotel, with rates around ¥10,000–15,000 for 60 minutes. Hotel health uses hotel rooms at similar prices. More shops are accepting foreign customers, but many are Japanese-only.

The number of shops is smaller than in Naha's Matsuyama or Okinawa City's Koza, but services are tailored to tourists. Some shops offer English or Chinese menus.

Access: about 1 hour by bus from Naha Airport, or rental car is convenient. Operating hours are mainly 8 PM to 2 AM. Weekends are crowded, so advance booking is recommended.

Foreign tourists may need to show a passport. For delivery health, it's common to call directly to your hotel room without going through the front desk. Hotel health uses shop-designated hotels. Payment is usually upfront; choose a reliable shop to avoid trouble.
