Kishiwada

Kishiwada is a port town between Osaka and Wakayama, with more locals than tourists. The station area has shopping streets and bars, and at night it becomes quiet.

Geographically, the center is Kishiwada Station on the Nankai Main Line, with shopping streets extending north and south. Adult venues are scattered in alleys and multi-tenant buildings within walking distance of the station, not concentrated in one area.

The adult scene in Kishiwada is small-scale, mainly delivery health (deriheru) and hotel health (hoteheru). Pink salons and soaplands are almost nonexistent. Prices are slightly cheaper than in Osaka city, with delivery health typically 12,000–15,000 yen for 60 minutes.

The number of shops is limited, and choices are few. Most shops cater to local men, and foreigner-friendly services are limited. Without Japanese language skills, it may be difficult to use.

Access is about 30 minutes from central Osaka on the Nankai Main Line, right at Kishiwada Station. Visiting on weekday nights is recommended; weekends can be crowded with locals.

Note that adult shops are scattered around the station, so it's best to research beforehand. Beware of touts and street solicitation, and refuse if approached.
