Mejiro is part of Toshima Ward, where the ward's plan says land use is mostly residential, dotted with greenery such as Gakushuin University and Mejiro Garden. The ward presents Mejiro, Takada and Zoshigaya together as one area.
Toshima Ward's page for Mejiro, Takada and Zoshigaya gives the area's transport as the Toden tram and the Fukutoshin Line. That label covers the whole area; it is not a list of the lines at Mejiro Station itself.
Toshima Ward's basic green plan says land in the Mejiro area is mostly used for housing, with green spaces such as Gakushuin University and Mejiro Garden scattered through it. The ward's Mejiro, Takada and Zoshigaya page likewise focuses on the history, culture and nature of Mejiro Garden and Zoshigaya.
In the Ikebukuro Area, which includes Mejiro, the listed venues can be seen on the Ikebukuro page. If a Mejiro listing is added, it will be displayed on this page.
The blocks the Metropolitan Police Department lists as touting zones in Toshima Ward (page updated 31 March 2016) belong to Ikebukuro, Nishi-Ikebukuro, Higashi-Ikebukuro, Minami-Ikebukuro, Minami-Otsuka, Kita-Otsuka and Sugamo; Mejiro is not among them. Because the list works town by town and block by block, a neighbouring district's designation does not extend to Mejiro.
It depends on the venue. Each venue page lists the languages it handles, and the “English OK” filter in search narrows results to venues with English support.
Payment methods vary by venue. Check the listing and confirm with the venue before booking.
