Inage Ward / Hanamigawa Ward brings two of Chiba City's wards together on one page. Hanamigawa lies in the city's northwest and stretches long from north to south.
Chiba City's overview of Hanamigawa Ward says the JR Sobu Line and Keisei lines run through the south of the ward. The same page names JR Shin-Kemigawa, Makuhari and Makuhari-Hongo stations, and describes the Makuhari-Hongo station area as a growing gateway to Makuhari New Town.
Hanamigawa sets itself the goal of being a town wrapped in rivers, greenery and flowers, and the city notes clusters of shops and commercial facilities around Shin-Kemigawa and Makuhari stations.
