Walking down Kokusai Street, you feel the energy of Okinawa's tourists. But step into a side alley, and neon-lit adult entertainment areas unfold. Matsuo, Makishi, and Asato have a long history as Naha's red-light district, blending tourists and locals in a unique atmosphere.

The area spans three districts around Kokusai Street: Matsuo, Makishi, and Asato. Monorail stations Kencho-mae, Miebashi, and Makishi are nearby, offering excellent access. The main street is lined with souvenir shops and restaurants, while at night, adult venue signs become prominent.

The core of the adult scene is soaplands, clustered in alleys just off Kokusai Street. Prices start around ¥10,000 for 60 minutes, cheaper than Tokyo or Osaka. Fashion health and delivery health are also common, popular with tourists for their convenience—you can use them from your hotel. Pink salons and SM clubs are fewer but exist.

Many shops cater to tourists, and some accept non-Japanese speakers. However, some shops refuse foreign customers, so check in advance. Most shops have transparent pricing, but watch out for optional extras.

The area gets lively after 8 PM. Weekends are crowded, so reservations are recommended. When entering alleys from Kokusai Street, beware of touts and firmly decline if approached. At soaplands, confirm the fee and services before entering.

Naha's adult scene is more affordable than mainland Japan, making it easy to enjoy between sightseeing. However, respect local customs and rules for a trouble-free experience.
