Kumoji

Even after the neon of Kokusai Street dims, the alleys of Kumoji stay lit. Step off the tourist-packed main drag, and the atmosphere shifts. Signs read "Soapland," "Delivery Health," "Pink Salon," and touts call out. This is Naha's densest adult district.

Kumoji sits in central Naha, between Kokusai Street and Kencho-mae Street, a five-minute walk from Kencho-mae monorail station. The alleys form a grid, shops packed tight. By day it's a normal shopping area; by night it transforms.

The main adult venue type here is soapland, with about 20 shops. Prices range from ¥15,000 to ¥30,000 per hour. Delivery health is also common, with calls to hotels. A few pink salons offer quick, cheap sessions. SM clubs and erotic massage places exist but are fewer.

Soaplands are popular with foreign tourists, but some refuse non-Japanese speakers. Delivery health requires phone booking and delivery to your hotel. Pink salons are easier to enter but usually Japanese-only. English-friendly shops are limited.

Best time to visit is Friday or Saturday night, from 8 PM to around 2 AM. If you stay at a hotel on Kokusai Street, everything is walkable. Tell a taxi "Kumoji no fuzokugai" (Kumoji adult district). Note: many shops ban street photography. Watch for overcharging of drunk customers—confirm prices upfront.
