Otsuka/Gokokuji

When you exit Otsuka Station, the Toden Arakawa Line tracks spread out before you. The station front is lined with chain izakayas and supermarkets, giving a lived-in feel. Walking toward Gokokuji, the area becomes even quieter residential streets. This is more a place for locals' daily life than an entertainment district.

Geographically, Otsuka Station sits between Ikebukuro and Sugamo on the Yamanote Line. Gokokuji is accessible via the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line. Both areas are within walking distance, and side streets off the main roads are quiet.

Adult services are limited. There are a few delivery health (deliheru) shops and a few hotel health (hoteheru) shops. No soaplands, pink salons, or SM clubs exist. Shops are scattered in small buildings or apartment rooms a bit from the station, with almost no flashy signs. Prices are slightly cheaper than central Tokyo, with deliheru around ¥10,000–15,000 for 60 minutes.

For foreign tourists, this area offers few options for adult entertainment. Nearby Ikebukuro or Shinjuku have far more shops. However, it can serve a niche demand for a quiet, relaxed service.

Access is convenient via Otsuka Station. It's 2 minutes from Ikebukuro on the Yamanote Line, about 10 minutes from Shinjuku. Peak hours are 10 PM to 2 AM. Reservations are generally in Japanese; English support is rare. For hotel health, you'll use nearby love hotels, so check the hotel location in advance.
