Hachioji

Exiting Hachioji Station's north exit, you see a typical provincial city scene with chain izakayas and fast-food joints. Even on weeknights, it's busy with salarymen and students, but it feels more like a living area than a nightlife district.

Adult venues cluster within a 5-minute walk from the station. On side streets off the main road, you'll find discreet signs for delivery health and pink salons. There are almost no storefront soaplands or fashion health shops; delivery-type services dominate.

Prices in Hachioji are slightly cheaper than in central Tokyo. Delivery health starts around ¥10,000 for 60 minutes, pink salons around ¥5,000 for 30 minutes. However, the number of shops is limited, and options are few. Shops that accept foreigners are even rarer.

Love hotels are scattered around the station, but for delivery health, you usually call them to your home or hotel. Pink salons are often in buildings near the station, convenient for a quick visit.

Access is easiest via JR Hachioji Station, about 40 minutes from Shinjuku on the Chuo Line Rapid. Taxis are easy to find at night, but less frequent after last train. Most adult shops operate until midnight to 2 AM, with few open during the day.

This is not an area foreign tourists would specifically visit. It's worth knowing as a backup if you can't play in central Tokyo. Many shops are tough without Japanese, so check by phone or email in advance.
