Centered around Takahata Fudo Station, extending to Hino and Toyota stations, this area is a quiet residential suburb known as a bedroom community for Tokyo. During the day, it's busy with families and commuters, but at night, taxis line up at the station roundabout and business hotel lights stand out.

Geographically, it's a transport hub where the JR Chuo Line and Tama Monorail intersect, with good access to Hachioji and Tachikawa. The station area has chain izakayas and family restaurants, more practical than flashy.

In the adult industry, delivery health (deliheru) and hotel health (hoteheru) dominate. Shops operate from small buildings or apartment rooms near the station, dispatching girls to nearby love hotels or business hotels. There are about a dozen shops, small-scale but locally focused.

Prices range from 12,000 to 18,000 yen for 60 minutes for delivery health, with hotel health similar plus hotel fee. Upscale shops are rare; it's mostly budget-friendly. Foreigner-friendly services are limited; Japanese language ability is usually required.

Access: about 40 minutes from Shinjuku on the JR Chuo Line. Takahata Fudo Station also serves the Keio Line. Operating hours are typically from afternoon until midnight or 2 AM. Weekends are busy, but walk-ins are difficult; advance reservation by phone or web is essential.

Not recommended for most foreign tourists. If you're fluent in Japanese and want a local experience, it's an option, but English support is nearly nonexistent. If you must go, bring a Japanese-speaking companion or confirm with the shop beforehand.
