Step out of Kinshicho Station's north exit, and you're in a messy jumble of pachinko parlors and izakaya. At night, neon signs flicker on and touts line the streets. This is one of Tokyo's major adult entertainment districts, busy with local salarymen and tourists.
Kinshicho is a transport hub served by the JR Sobu Line and Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line. The north exit is the adult district's center, with soapland alley a five-minute walk from the station. Koiwa is one stop east on the Sobu Line; Ryogoku one stop west. Ryogoku is known for sumo, but at night it's quiet residential streets.
Kinshicho's adult district has about 30 soaplands, many delivery health services, and a few pink salons. Soapland prices start at ¥20,000 per hour, with high-end shops over ¥50,000. Delivery health runs from ¥10,000 per hour plus hotel fee. Koiwa has a handful of soaplands and delivery health. Ryogoku has almost no adult shops, dominated by sumo stables and chanko nabe restaurants.
Kinshicho's soaplands range from old-school box health to luxury. Delivery health often has women working same-day, and more shops accept foreigners. Pink salons are short-time, low-cost, popular with salarymen. Koiwa's soaplands are slightly cheaper and locally oriented.
To get to Kinshicho, take the JR Sobu Line rapid from Tokyo Station (about 8 minutes). From the north exit, walk straight on the main street, turn left at the first traffic light into soapland alley. If touts approach, check the shop's exterior and price list first. English-friendly shops are limited; for delivery health, online booking is convenient.
When using adult services, bring ID. Foreigners must carry a passport. Soaplands generally require reservations; walk-ins are difficult. For delivery health, secure a hotel first. Pink salons are easy to enter for short sessions, but follow the shop's rules.
