Kinshicho and Ryogoku

Kinshicho Station is on the JR Sobu Line and the Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line, with Kinshi Park three minutes' walk away at the centre of the district. Ryogoku is sumo's home: the Kokugikan stages Tokyo's three tournaments a year, and the district is known for morning practice at sumo stables and for chanko hotpot. The Edo-Tokyo Museum and the Sumida Hokusai Museum are here too, about 13 minutes from Tokyo Station with a change at Akihabara. A tourist information office sits at the west exit of JR Ryogoku; the Toei Oedo Line's Ryogoku station is a 7-minute walk away.

Oshiage, Koiwa and the rest

Oshiage is the Tokyo Skytree district of Sumida ward and forms one area together with Hikifune and Mukojima. Koiwa lies in Edogawa ward, where the Koiwa Iris Garden spreads along the Edogawa river. Kameido/Hirai and Funabori/Shinozaki complete this major area.
