Nakameguro / Yutenji

Nakameguro and Yutenji are residential neighborhoods a few stops from Shibuya on the Tokyu Toyoko Line. Nakameguro has trendy cafes and select shops, while Yutenji is even quieter. At night, foot traffic drops and the area becomes calm.

Geographically, Nakameguro Station and Yutenji Station are about 1 km apart, a 15-minute walk. Nakameguro is famous for cherry blossoms along the Meguro River, but adult shops are tucked away in alleys and mixed-use buildings away from the station. Yutenji is similar, with few visible signs.

The adult scene here centers on delivery health and hotel health. There are only a handful of shops each. No flashy neon or touts; most require advance reservations. Prices are slightly cheaper than central Tokyo, around ¥10,000 for 60 minutes.

Delivery health sends girls to your home or hotel. Hotel health uses partner hotels. The clientele is mostly local men; few shops cater to tourists. Don't expect English support.

Access: from Shibuya, Nakameguro is about 3 minutes, Yutenji about 6 minutes on the Tokyu Toyoko Line. Operating hours are typically 10 PM to 5 AM. Book by phone or web in advance. Some shops refuse foreigners, so check first.

If you want to play here, enjoy the local atmosphere and a quiet service. If you're after flashy nightlife, head to Shibuya or Shinjuku instead.
