Wakabayashi/Kamimachi (Setagaya Line)

Around Wakabayashi and Kamimachi stations on the Setagaya Line, you'll find quiet residential streets far from the city's hustle. By day, the shopping streets bustle with families and shoppers, but by night, foot traffic thins out.

This area is one of the more subdued adult entertainment zones along the Tokyu Line. No flashy neon or touts; shops are tucked into ordinary apartments or small buildings. Within a few minutes' walk from the stations, you'll find a handful of delivery health and hotel health shops.

The number of shops is small—around 10 in total. Delivery health is the main category, with a few hotel health shops. Prices are slightly lower than in central Tokyo, typically 12,000–15,000 yen for 60 minutes. Shops are small, with a limited number of girls.

This is not an area frequented by foreign tourists. Most shops require Japanese language ability and advance phone reservations. Some shops explicitly refuse foreign customers, so caution is needed.

Access: the nearest stations are Wakabayashi or Kamimachi on the Tokyu Setagaya Line. From Shinjuku, take the Keio Line to Meidaimae and transfer—about 30 minutes. There are few hotels nearby, so for delivery health, you'll need to call to your home or accommodation.

Weekday evenings are best for visiting. Weekends can get busy with local customers. This is a small, locally oriented area, not worth a special trip for sightseeing.
