Fushimi

Fushimi is an entertainment district one stop south of Kyoto Station, centered around the Keihan Main Line station. By day it functions as an office area, but at night neon lights come on and adult businesses start operating. Mixed in with the izakaya scene near the station, signs for delivery health and hotel health are prominent.

Geographically, the area around Fushimi-Momoyama Station is the core, with shops scattered along Kyomachi Street and Otesuji Street. Several hotels are within walking distance, making hotel health convenient. Delivery health shops are often in apartment-type buildings a bit further from the station.

The adult scene is dominated by delivery health and hotel health; pink salons and erotic massage are almost nonexistent. There are about 20–30 shops, a medium concentration. Prices range from ¥12,000–18,000 for 60 minutes, slightly cheaper than central Kyoto. Foreigner-friendly shops are limited; most require Japanese.

Delivery health operates from apartments or mixed-use buildings near the station, while hotel health uses partner hotels. Phone reservations are standard; walk-ins are difficult. Photos and prices can be checked on shop websites, but most are Japanese-only.

Access is easiest via Keihan Line's Fushimi-Momoyama Station. From Kyoto Station, JR Nara Line's Momoyama Station is also an option. Peak hours are 8 PM to 2 AM. Fridays and Saturdays are busy, so early reservations are recommended.

For foreign visitors who don't speak Japanese, contacting shops via email or chat beforehand is advised. Some shops refuse foreigners, so trying multiple shops is safer. Hotel health saves the trouble of booking a room, making it suitable for first-timers.
