Fujigaoka/Aobadai/Tana

Fujigaoka, Aobadai, and Tana are quiet residential neighborhoods along the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line in Aoba Ward, Yokohama. During the day, the station areas are busy with supermarkets and restaurants catering to families, but at night foot traffic drops and the atmosphere becomes calm.

This area is about 30 minutes from Shibuya on the Den-en-toshi Line and easily accessible from central Yokohama. Fujigaoka and Aobadai stations are the main hubs, with a few business hotels and love hotels scattered nearby.

In the adult entertainment scene, this area has a small concentration of delivery health (deliheru) shops. A handful of deliheru operate here, along with a few hotel health and fashion health options. There are no soaplands or pink salons. Prices are slightly lower than central Tokyo, with deliheru typically costing 15,000–25,000 yen for 60 minutes.

Shops are located in apartments or small buildings within walking distance of the stations, and most require advance reservations. Foreigner-friendly services are limited; not speaking Japanese may make it difficult to use these services.

If you visit, aim for weekday evenings after 8 PM. Weekends tend to be booked by locals, so early reservations are recommended. Convenience stores and family restaurants near the stations are good for meeting points.

Note that because this is a residential area, shop exteriors are discreet with minimal signage. First-timers should confirm the shop location in advance. Street touts are almost nonexistent.
