Minato Mirai

Minato Mirai is a redeveloped waterfront area in Yokohama. By day it's filled with tourists and families, but at night it reveals its office-district character, with business hotels and high-rise condos lining the streets.

The area centers around Minato Mirai Station, with landmarks like Landmark Tower and Cosmo World. Adult venues are scattered in alleys a short walk from the station and toward Sakuragicho.

The adult scene in Minato Mirai is relatively small compared to Yokohama as a whole. Main categories are soaplands, delivery health, and hotel health. Hotel health commonly uses business hotels. Prices are slightly lower than in Tokyo: soaplands start around ¥10,000 for 30 minutes, delivery health around ¥10,000 for 60 minutes.

There are only a few soaplands, mostly in the budget range. Delivery health offers more choices, with some shops accepting foreigners. Hotel health operates out of Minato Mirai hotels and requires advance booking.

Access is convenient via Minato Mirai Line's Minato Mirai Station. From Tokyo, take the Tokyu Toyoko Line direct (about 30 minutes); from Yokohama Station, it's one stop. Most venues operate until midnight, with last entry around 11 PM.

Foreign visitors should check if shops accept non-Japanese speakers, as some do not. Soaplands may require ID upon entry.
