Also known as minato-mirai
Minato Mirai is a planned district built on reclaimed land in Yokohama. The city's tourism site introduces it as the new face of Yokohama.
According to Yokohama's tourism site, Minatomirai Station on the Minatomirai Line connects directly with several shopping complexes. Sakuragicho Station, served by the JR Keihin-Tohoku and Negishi lines and the Yokohama Municipal Subway, is also given as a gateway to Minato Mirai.
The same site presents Minato Mirai 21 as a district laid out to a plan, with art museums, shopping malls, office towers and hotels. The Minato Mirai page has no listings yet. Once added they will appear on this page; current listings are on the Kanagawa page.
Article 9 of Kanagawa's nuisance prevention ordinance bans aggressive, high-nuisance touting and solicitation in entertainment districts; police can order it stopped, and the prefectural public safety commission can suspend a business that does not comply. Prefectural police guidance also says soapland-type businesses are banned throughout Kanagawa, and no new delivery health reception office may open in the prefecture.
It depends on the venue. Each venue page lists the languages it handles, and the “English OK” filter in search narrows results to venues with English support.
Payment methods vary by venue. Check the listing and confirm with the venue before booking.
