Kannai/Isezakicho

Kannai and Isezakicho are a mix of Yokohama's business district and red-light area. During the day, office workers fill the streets, but at night, neon lights up and the adult entertainment scene emerges. The back alleys of Isezakicho Shopping Street are packed with adult venues.

Geographically, the nearest stations are JR Kannai Station and Yokohama Municipal Subway Isezaki-chojamachi Station. It's a 5-minute walk from Kannai Station's south exit to the heart of Isezakicho. The area is compact, with most shops within walking distance.

The adult scene here is centered on soaplands. There are about 30 soaplands in Kannai/Isezakicho, with prices ranging from 15,000 to 30,000 yen per hour. Delivery health is also common, with hotel dispatch being the norm. Pink salons offer quick, affordable fun, typically 3,000 to 5,000 yen. A few SM clubs cater to those seeking hardcore play.

For foreign visitors, soaplands are the most accessible option. However, some shops may refuse foreigners, so check in advance. Delivery health requires phone reservations and may be difficult without Japanese. Pink salons are relatively easy to enter but require basic Japanese.

The best time to visit is between 8 PM and 11 PM. Weekends are crowded, but weekdays offer plenty of choices. Many restaurants and convenience stores are nearby for waiting. Note that street touts are legal but can be persistent.

For foreigners, research English-friendly shops beforehand. Most shops are cash-only, so bring enough cash. Credit cards are rarely accepted.
