Awaji/Kamishinjo covers the streets around Awaji and Kamishinjo, two Hankyu stations inside Osaka City. This page introduces the stations and the land readjustment project the city is carrying out around Awaji Station.
Hankyu publishes separate station guides for Awaji and Kamishinjo. Around Awaji Station, Osaka City's land readjustment project addresses a district where the station had divided east-west traffic, as the city explains.
According to the city's land readjustment page, Hankyu's Awaji Station cut the area's east-west traffic in two, and old wooden buildings were packed closely around it. Because of these problems, the city is redeveloping the district around Awaji Station.
When listings are added for Awaji/Kamishinjo they will appear on this page. The current ones are on the Osaka City page and can also be reached from the Umeda, Nishinakajima/Shin-Osaka/Higashi-Mikuni, Namba/Shinsaibashi, Nihonbashi and Uehonmachi pages. Every listing in the prefecture is a dispatch service.
Awaji and Kamishinjo are inside Osaka City too, so they fall under its touting ordinance. On roads the ordinance treats as prohibited zones, no kind of business may tout in principle, and disregarding an order or similar instruction means a non-penal fine of up to 50,000 yen. Throughout the prefecture, a prefectural ordinance outlaws sex-industry shops with premises and reception offices alike.
