Tsuruhashi

When you step out of Tsuruhashi Station, the smell of grilled meat and Korean-language signs hit you first. This is one of Osaka's major Koreatowns, bustling with tourists and locals from daytime until late night. But if you're here for adult entertainment, adjust your expectations.

Geographically, Tsuruhashi Station is a transport hub where the JR Loop Line, Kintetsu Line, and the Subway Sennichimae Line intersect. The area around the station is dense with yakiniku restaurants and Korean grocery stores, with small bars and game centers tucked away in the backstreets. Adult shops are quietly located in multi-tenant buildings and alleys within a 5-minute walk from the station.

Compared to other Osaka areas like Minami or Kita, Tsuruhashi's adult entertainment scene is much smaller. The main categories are delivery health (deliheru) and pink salons (pinsaro), with only a handful of shops each. You won't find soaplands, hotel health, or SM clubs here. Prices are relatively reasonable: delivery health around ¥10,000 for 60 minutes, pink salons around ¥5,000 for 30 minutes.

Most shops are individually run, with no flashy signs. It's common to research online beforehand. Services for foreign tourists are almost nonexistent; if you don't speak Japanese, you may be turned away. Some shops may ask for a residence card.

Access is good—just a few minutes on foot from JR Tsuruhashi Station. However, late at night the streets get quiet and alleys can be dark, so be cautious. For adult entertainment, Minami or Kita offer far more options. Realistically, Tsuruhashi is best visited as a side trip after yakiniku.

Advice for foreign visitors: First, not speaking Japanese will be a hurdle. Almost no shops have English support. Pink salons are walk-in and immediate, while delivery health requires advance reservation. If calling to a hotel, confirm the hotel allows delivery health visitors.
