Morinomiya/Tamatsukuri is the area around Morinomiya and Tamatsukuri stations, served by Osaka Metro's Chuo and Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi lines and by JR. This page covers the interchanges at the two stations and Tamatsukuri's history as the start of the Nara Kaido road.
At Morinomiya Station on the Chuo Line (C19) you can change to the Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line (N20) and to JR. One stop along the Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line is Tamatsukuri (N19), which also connects with JR.
According to a Higashinari Ward page, Tamatsukuri prospered as the starting point of the Nara Kaido, and the road was once lined with the Nikenjaya teahouses and a stone bridge known as Kuromon-bashi.
Since the Morinomiya/Tamatsukuri page has no listings yet, any that are added will be displayed here. At present they are on the Osaka City page and on the Uehonmachi, Namba/Shinsaibashi, Nihonbashi, Umeda and Nishinakajima/Shin-Osaka/Higashi-Mikuni pages. Listings in the prefecture are limited to dispatch services.
Both Morinomiya and Tamatsukuri lie inside Osaka City, so the city's touting ordinance covers them. Roads with especially heavy foot traffic and many complaints become prohibited zones, where soliciting is barred in principle for any line of business and ignoring guidance can cost a non-penal fine of up to 50,000 yen. A prefectural ordinance also keeps premises-based sex businesses and reception counters out of Osaka Prefecture altogether.
It depends on the venue. Each venue page lists the languages it handles, and the “English OK” filter in search narrows results to venues with English support.
Payment methods vary by venue. Check the listing and confirm with the venue before booking.
