Gamo 4-chome is the area around Gamo Yon-chome Station in Osaka's Joto Ward, where the Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi and Imazatosuji lines cross. This page covers the interchange and an outline of Joto Ward.
On the Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line, Gamo Yon-chome (N23) is an interchange with the Imazatosuji Line (I18). The neighbouring stop on the Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line, Kyobashi (N22), connects with JR and Keihan, so from either of those you can switch to the subway at Kyobashi and ride one stop.
Joto Ward's page describes the ward as lying east of Osaka Castle, with the Neyagawa and Daini-Neyagawa rivers flowing through it from east to west.
