Bentencho/Kujo/Taisho brings together three stations: Bentencho and Kujo on the Osaka Metro Chuo Line, and Taisho on the Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line. This page covers the interchanges at each and how the local wards describe the area.
Bentencho (C13) and Kujo (C14) are both Chuo Line stations; Bentencho connects with JR, and Kujo with Hanshin. Taisho (N11) is on the Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line and is likewise a transfer point for JR.
Nishi Ward's overview says Kujo grew so lively in the Meiji era, helped by the opening of the port, that it was called the "Shinsaibashi of the west," and that the Kujo shopping street lies on its western side. Taisho Ward describes itself as having developed as a waterfront industrial zone.
None of the three station areas has listings yet; they will appear on this page as soon as any are added. Osaka's listings currently sit on the Osaka City page and on the Namba/Shinsaibashi, Umeda, Nihonbashi, Nishinakajima/Shin-Osaka/Higashi-Mikuni and Uehonmachi pages, all of them dispatch services.
Bentencho, Kujo and Taisho are all inside Osaka City, where the touting ordinance applies. Touting on roads treated as prohibited zones is forbidden in principle whatever the trade, and those who ignore orders or similar instructions face a non-penal fine of up to 50,000 yen. By prefectural ordinance, store-type sex businesses and reception offices cannot operate in any part of Osaka.
It depends on the venue. Each venue page lists the languages it handles, and the “English OK” filter in search narrows results to venues with English support.
Payment methods vary by venue. Check the listing and confirm with the venue before booking.
