Kyobashi/Miyakojima covers the streets around Kyobashi and Miyakojima stations in Osaka's Miyakojima Ward. This page explains the interchange at Kyobashi, where JR, Keihan and Osaka Metro meet, and the anti-touting measures the city has taken in the Kyobashi district.
Kyobashi Station on the Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line (N22) connects with JR and Keihan; its subway neighbours are Osaka Business Park (N21) and Gamo Yon-chome (N23). Miyakojima Station (T17) is on the Tanimachi Line, and its station guide lists no connecting lines.
Miyakojima Ward's page says that a large number of restaurants and shops are concentrated in the Kyobashi area. This page has no listings yet, and once some are added they will be laid out here. The ward explains that repeated street touting and bicycles parked on the pavement in the Kyobashi area led to the founding of a council for a safer neighbourhood in 2007. On 23 December 2022 the city designated Higashinodacho 1, 2, 3 and 5 chome and part of Katamachi 2-chome in Miyakojima Ward (underground excluded) as the Kyobashi priority district for touting control.
Under the ordinance, fines apply in prohibited zones, which include streets in Kita such as Sonezaki and Doyamacho and in Minami such as Namba and Dotonbori; there a tout who ignores an order can be fined up to 50,000 yen as a non-penal fine. Store-based sex businesses and reception-office operations are banned everywhere in Osaka Prefecture by its ordinance.
